The Aylmer Food Center launches its 9th edition of the Christmas Sharing Store.
The Christmas Sharing Store is an alternative to the Christmas basket offered by the St-Vincent Paul Society.
The event provides impoverished families living in Aylmer with the opportunity to do their Christmas shopping at a 10th of the actual cost. More than 130 families and 150 children benefit from this event.
This year, the Christmas Sharing Store will be held on December 17th 2014. In twelve hours close to 14 000$ in food and basic needs products will be distributed and each child under 18 years of age will be receiving a Christmas gifts. We need volunteers to help with the preparation of our Christmas event. We are looking for people who are available between 8H00 to 15H00 during the week, from the last week of November to the 18rst of December. The work consists of sorting, organising and taking inventory of the products that are donated, this with a group of volunteers.
Thank you for visiting our website.
